Potential Merits to the Network:

The change to the ideal_stake parameter is applied via a runtime upgrade and does not affect the consensus mechanism or validator operations. The network will continue to function as intended, with no disruptions for participants. This upgrade ensures validator operator sustainability and ensures a well-incentivised validator set as the network continues to grow.

We welcome the decision to adjust ideal_stake to 50%.

This change aligns well with Avail’s goal of fostering a decentralized and sustainable validator ecosystem.
By reducing stake concentration pressure, it allows committed validators who actively contribute to the network and community to remain competitive and sustainable over the long term.

We support the proposal and appreciate it.

I confirm support of the update. Reducing ideal_stake to 50% is a logical step to improve decentralization and accessibility of the active set.
